Much like my many marital situations I love a challenge and even though in the console space we are beginning to get some great maps out there now, it's just something about me always wanting to conquer those starter maps. All depends on your level of commitment to one map and actually playing the game to its fullest. But that’ll get expensive in the long run.

Leasing is always an option I suppose too. So it’s going to be tough on Ravenport, unless you’re playing very relaxed and do need “everything” on one map. We love doing forestry, and I’ve been able to build the map and my farm exactly how I want it. Granted it’s a grindy map due to all the tree cutting, but for me and my friend it’s exactly what we wanted. We still have about 250 slots left and are approaching completion. I’ve bought most of the machinery I’ve wanted and I’ve expanded into every area of farming there is. Barely any props are used on this map so you have around a thousand free slots to work with. I picked Grizzly Mountain due to its super low slot usage right off the bat. You’ll either need multiple saves or like I said before, use the smaller equipment with lots of duplicates. You also won’t be able to tackle all the farming areas FS19 has to offer at full force. The worst part of all is you’re going to miss out on a ton of unique fun equipment and will always be “penny pinching” when it comes to slot cost. Or buy 5 of the exact same tractor so your slots don’t go up more than 1 after each new tractor bought.

Sadly, with this method you’re going to be a lot less efficient, and only be able to do one thing at time due to the lack of available tractors you have at once. Well, actually you might, if you use the same 2 or 3 tractors for everything, buy duplicates when you need more than one of the same type of equipment, and pick the absolutely lowest slot dependent equipment you can find. Due to Ravenport giving us such a pathetically low amount of slots, you won’t be able to buy all the equipment needed to do everything. Your choices being crops, husbandry, forestry, silage, or cotton. But since you already said you won’t, here’s the biggest tip I can give you. An old barn + 3 sheds(one with functioning doors) A shed where is a trailer is useful for storing root crop(potatoes, sugar beets.Switch to another map. (I may edit and add them in the future, its just i dont like them in game.) What i hated from previous versions is you had animal sheds too far away from your farm, and that was always my main goal, to have everything on my farm. So i decided to edit the map the way i want it, place it down how i see it and edit the terrain. Not however ingame placeable system, which is a pain in the ***. In previous games i always felt EU maps were better, but this time around, US map Ravenport is absolutely fantastic. This is my first ever published map, been playing FS from 13 onward.
